StarTalk (ASPI layer) SDK

ASPI (Advanced SCSI Programming Interface) is for ages "de facto" standard for accessing SCSI devices (or devices that have SCSI-like drivers, like ATAPI, FiberChannel, USB or FireWire ones) under Windows platforms.

Now instead of writing independent executables for Windows 95 and Windows NT lines of the OSes you can just keep single binary with only ASPI interface supported. And our own ASPI layer DLL will wrap all ASPI calls into SPTI (SCSI Pass-Through Interface) transparently to your application.

If the code would run on Windows 95 line of the OSes your application will deal with the system own preinstalled Adaptec ASPI drivers (to achieve maximum stability and compatibility).
